Day 1: Hoi An – Kham Duc (145 km)
As the sun rises, we go through traditional rice paddies, until we reach the Cham Tower, an important site closely associated with the American war. Our journey continues riding along the HCM trail before we stop to relax and swim in the waters of the magnificent waterfall. Right after that, we drive into the splendid highlands with the bewildering natural surroundings, and go passed an ethnic minority community, as well as numerous landmarks -precious relics- from the Civil War of Vietnam before we finally arrive at Kham Duc, at around 5:00 P.M.
We spend the night in the small town.
Day 2: Kham Duc – capital of Kon Tum (180 km)
Today on the motorcycle tours Vietnam we take the Highway 14 will take us to Kon Tum. This section of the HCM trail has plenty to amaze us with: wonderful picturesque views, stops for relaxation and swimming at idyllic spots, a scenic waterfall, and ethnic minority communities, where we can familiarize ourselves with the local customs, traditions, and cultures. Today’s end destination is the French-built Wooden Church, dating back to the early 1900s, and the Rong House.
We spend the night in Kon Tum.
Day 3: Capital of Kon Tum – Buon Me Thuot (250 km)
This is going to be another exciting motorcycle tours Vietnam day testing our riding skills and prowess, as we leave Kon Tum and head for Buon Me Thuot. On our way, we meet pictorial Ede ethnic minority villages, such as Ba Na, among so many others, and grab the chance to interact with the locals and learn more about their traditions and culture first-hand. We will also have the opportunity to visit the famous Eye of Pleiku, the lovely sea-lake, and a rubber plantation, before we visit the Dark Lak Museum, at Buon Me Thuot, which will also be today’s overnight stay on the motorcyle tours Vietnam.
We spend the night in Buon Me Thuot.
Day 4: Buon Me Thuot – Dray Sap – Lak Lake (120 km)
A very impressive waterfall -and the biggest- in Vietnam is the Dray Sap, which is where we are heading today on our motorcycle tours Vietnam. Another addictive experience of complete second wind and swimming. The next best thing is the fact that we are trying Vietnam’s best coffee, from the hands of people that know the traditional coffee-cultivation methods and can show us how they process coffee to make this distinguishing fantastic blend and flavor.
The afternoon finds us riding the small back roads to the Lak Lake, where we are staying for the night and share a glass of beer with the friendly locals.
We spend the night in a homestay or resort in Lak Lake.
Day 5: Lak Lake – Da Lat (165 km)
Da Lat is our first destination for the day. You can pass the lake either riding a boat or an elephant (excluded from the price), and visit the ethnic minority community of the M’lieng people. Our cultural quest does not end here, though. We can explore more of the rural life and learn about the M’nong tribe, in the village of Jun, for about an hour.
On our way to Da Lat, we have a break, as we ride the mountain, and admire the view, the charming and lush natural surroundings, and the coffee plantations, just before we visit the soothing and whooshing at the same time, Pren waterfall.
Day 6: Da Lat – Nha Trang (135km)
Before saying goodbye to Da Lat and head for Nha Trang, we have a moment in the flower garden, the Tho Lake, and marvelous vegetable farms, as they spread upon our eyes. We wallow in tasting local coffee in a café, interact with the community of the K’ho, and visit the breath-taking waterfall.
The road leads us to Nha Trang, where the motorcycle tours Vietnam ends, leaving us with a delightful taste on the mouth and a heart longing for more experience of this sort!
Tour ends at around 4:00PM.
